The Prince Rupert Self Advocacy Group will be hosting its 14^th Self Advocacy Conference from Oct 23, 2012 to Oct 25, 2012.

This year’s theme is Futures on the Horizon. The Prince Rupert Self Advocacy Group says that many of today’s people who have a developmental disability have fought for the same rights that we all share. They want to have the same things in life we all love. Just like a sunset or sunrise their futures are on the horizon, where instead of seeing an individual with a disability we see Tom that hard working guy, or Samantha who loves to paint. One day we will just see people without labels, without prejudice without faults.

Guest Speakers will be talking about employment and what it means to your business, your family and your community. Tickets will be $175.00 this includes full conference a dinner and dance. Conference tickets $65.00 per day without the dinner and dance. Snacks will be provided at all breaks.
