City of Vancouver: Election Outreach Program

We have received the following information from the City of Vancouver.

The City of Vancouver’s election outreach program provides information about voting in the municipal election taking place on October 20, 2018. From now until October 19, outreach staff are available to talk to Vancouver residents to help ensure people have the information needed to vote. Through the Election Office you can book outreach staff for voter education presentations or to attend events.

Voter education presentations – 15 minute presentation on:
• City services
• Responsibilities of elected representatives
• Voter eligibility and registration
• Ways to vote
• Accessibility provisions for voters

Election information booth – Outreach staff will:
• Provide election information
• Help people register to vote
• Answer election-related questions
