BCCPD is delighted to partner with March of Dimes Canada, Muscular Dystrophy Canada and Stroke Recovery Association of BC on an upcoming event.

Living with a Disability, Health and Wellness Information Day will include sessions on:

Self-Advocacy
Stroke Recovery, Muscular Dystrophy, Polio/Post-Polio Accessible Travel
Coping with Depression
Respiratory Care
Registered Disability Savings Plan and other financial matters
Conductive Education®
Emergency Preparedness for People with Disabilities
Display Booths, and much more

Disability Alliance BC offers the following ways to access our services: over the phone, virtually, or in-person at our office located in downtown Vancouver. As the demand for our services is very high, we do not take walk-in appointments.

Since 1977, Disability Alliance BC has been a provincial, cross-disability voice in British Columbia. Our mission is to support people, with all disabilities, to live with dignity, independence and as equal and full participants in the community. We champion issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities through our direct services, community partnerships, advocacy, research and publications.
