Community Services We Recommend

Workshops

DABC provides workshops across BC to share information on provincial and federal disability benefits (CPP-D), the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), and the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP).

Legal Clinic

We host legal clinics for people with disabilities who need legal advice on civil law issues. This is made possible through our community partner, Access Pro Bono Society. To find out more or schedule an appointment, contact us at 604-872-1278.

Social Worker

An independent, registered social worker attends our office to help clients complete Section 3 (Assessor’s section) of the PWD application form. Section 3 is completed after Section 2 of the form has been completed by a doctor.

Because of the high number of people who contact us for assistance, we cannot accept walk-in clients for legal clinics or social worker appointments. Please call us at 604-872-1278 to make an appointment.

Clicklaw

DABC is proud to have been one of the community partners in the development of Clicklaw. A site that provides legal information, education and help for British Columbians.
