Tax Appointment: COVID-19

Our services are by appointment only: Make an appointment and a Tax Advocate will do your tax return by videoconference (Zoho or Zoom), by email, or by phone.   

 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disability Alliance BC’s office will be closed until further notice. There will be no in-person services at our office.  

 However, we still provide remote services in limited capacities through video conference (Zoho/Zoom), email, phone or mail-out. 

All client needs to make an appointment to get served. Please use the tax appointment form below. If the form doesn’t show any available spots, please contact us directly.  

Once you submit your request, you will receive a confirmation email.

How to meet your Advocate:  

  • By videoconference:  you will receive a virtual meeting invitation link. You need to join the meeting on that day.  
  • By Email or phone: you need to have your documents ready for your appointment date.   
  • By mail out: you will be connected on your appointment date.  

 

Your appointment must be made at least 48 hours in advance. 

 

Complicated tax Matters: If you have complicated tax matters or barriers to using this form, please directly send an email to make special arrangementstaxaid@disabilityalliancebc.org  

However, those who have complicated tax matters (self-employment income or employment expenses (vehicle expense); business or rental income and expenses; capital gains or losses; bankrupt individuals; deceased individuals), we won’t able to support during the peak season (by April 2021).  

Self-employment tax return:  If you have a self-employment income and would like to claim your simple expenses to reduce your taxes, please fill out the expense report in advance. Without this form, we won’t able to claim your expense.  

Mail out servicesWe also offer our services by emailphone and mail services. You may be asked to send your tax slips/photo ID to your Tax Advocate and complete and submit a Tax AID Intake and Waiver Form. Your Advocate will contact you for further follow-up. If you need us to mail your form, please let us know. Our mailing address:
