UBCIC Resolution 2021-17 “Decolonizing the Persons with Disabilities Designation (PWD) Application and Appeal Process”

The Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) has endorsed a resolution calling for the provincial government to reform the PWD designation application and appeal process to be more inclusive of the cultural, mental and physical needs of Indigenous people with disabilities. DABC fully supports this resolution.
