Update: COVID-19/DABC office closure
In light of the quickly evolving situation concerning COVID-19 (the coronavirus), and after careful consideration, DABC has made the difficult decision to temporarily close our office. Given the nature of our services, the reliance of our clients, staff and volunteers on public transit, and the vulnerability of the clients we serve, we feel this is the responsible decision for the safety of the DABC community.
At this time, we plan to reach out to our existing clients and the broader community, and close our office until the end of March. Over the next two weeks, our co-Executive Directors will work to come up with a longer term solution to try to serve our clients remotely, should the need persist.
We hope you will understand and support our decision. It is not one we take lightly, as we know our clients depend on our services; however, we want to err on the side of caution to do our part to keep the community safe for everyone.
If you have an appointment scheduled with Tax AID DABC in March, please visit our Tax AID website for info. We will provide remote services in limited capacities for that program.
If there are any further closures past the end of March, we will let everyone know through social media.
