Casting Call - Vancouver Flexible Plastic Straw Users
The
City of Vancouver is issuing a Casting Call for people who rely on flexible
plastic straws for consuming beverages and nutrition to participate in a
photoshoot and videoshoot for a public awareness advertising campaign.
The
campaign is designed to increase the public’s understanding of the rationale
behind the plastic straw by-law, particularly the accessibility requirement for
food vendors to provide flexible plastic straws individually wrapped in paper
when requested, while banning all other plastic straws.
Details about the photoshoot and videoshoot are provided in the casting call, along with contact information for any questions.
