RDSP Workshop Information

What:               Free Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) Workshop
Where:             BCCPD’s office at #204-456 West Broadway in Vancouver
When:              Tuesday, September 9th from 1pm-3pm

We will cover the RDSP, Disability Tax Credit (DTC) and basic financial skills. The workshop is for people receiving the Persons with Disabilities Benefit (PWD) or living on very low incomes. Staff and volunteers from community organizations are welcome to attend. We’ll be happy to help participants apply for the DTC and RDSP.

This and future workshops have been made possible through the generous support of Vancity.

At our June 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM), our Board and members voted to change the name of our organization to Disability Alliance BC. Over the next while, we will be gradually transitioning our website, social media and email addresses to our new name. All communications will be automatically re-routed. We will also have a new logo.

We hope you like our new name! We’re still doing the same work for the disability community; nothing else has changed.

BCCPD would like to thank the Shoppers Drug Mart Life Foundation for their generous donation of $2,000 to support BCCPD’s Women with Disabilities Networking for Health and Wellness sessions.

We are very grateful for the support of the Shoppers Drug Mart Life Foundation. With their assistance, over the next few months, we will be providing peer support and health education sessions for women with disabilities on: sexual health, menopause, food (in)security, and physical activity.
