Demonstration Project to Improve Social Inclusion Outcomes of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Clients
The BC Coalition of People with Disabilities (BCCPD), CMHA-BC Division, Inclusion BC and SPARC BC are working with the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation (MSDSI) to facilitate the development of community-based demonstration projects that will contribute to improved social inclusion outcomes for people receiving Persons with Disabilities (PWD) assistance.
Eligibility: Who Can Apply?
BC based not-for-profit organizations that operate primarily for community benefit and whose services are open to the public and not restricted to the organization’s membership. The organization does not have to be a registered charity, but must have a democratically elected volunteer Board chosen from its membership.
Application Deadline is October 25/13.
Important Note About the Application

Money Skills Workshop Series- Register Now
The program is presented by Family Services of Greater Vancouver and designed to help participants increase their knowledge and confidence in the tasks of daily money management. In this 3-Session workshop series you will learn about:
BUDGETING: Track your earning and spending and be in control of your money
BANKING: Choose the options that are right for you, reduce fees and save money
CREDIT: Build and maintain a good credit history and deal with debt
CONSUMERISM: Examine the role of advertising in our spending choices and how to be in charge of your own spending
REGISTER EARLY, SPACE IS LIMITED:
COST: Free (Fully subsidized by Vancity with the support of BC Hydro & Lawson Lundell)
WHEN: September 11, 2013; September 18, 2013; September 25, 2013.
