We  would like to acknowledge the recent passing of Ken Fraser from VRS Communities and express our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who worked closely with him. 

Ken was a true leader and visionary in accessible housing. He championed and brought to life the availability of choices for people with disability to live independently in their own homes and communities.

Through VRS Communities and their partnerships with developers, Ken and his team provided accessible homes where some Right Fit clients now live. 

As a long-time member of the Right Fit Steering Committee, we are thankful for his invaluable knowledge, experience, and perspective, especially in the face of challenges. We will all miss him greatly in this work; Ken’s passing is an incalculable loss to the disability community.

Capital Bike is looking for people with lived experience of disability, accessibility barriers to help shape a series of road safety videos that is being developed for the Greater Victoria region.
