On January 31st, the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition launched “To End a Crisis: Vision for BC Drug Policy.” This is more than a vision; it is a crucial call to action. 

Developed by a provincial working group of civil society organizations and people who use drugs, the roadmap for reform covers four critical areas: Drug Regulation; Decriminalization; Addressing Inequality; and Detox, Recovery, and Treatment.

DABC is planning to redesign our website and we want your feedback! We value your perspectives and ideas as we make our website more visitor friendly, accessible and informative. We have created an online survey, which will be open until February 29th, 2024.

At the end of the survey, you will be provided a link to fill out a second form if you would like to be entered into a draw for a $50 gift card to a local store of your choice. The second form is completely optional. If you do provide your email address in the second form for the draw, your information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of DABC. We estimate the survey may take 12-20 minutes to complete.

CUPE 4500 has announced that its members plan to strike for 48 hours starting this upcoming Monday, January 22^nd at 3 am. As a result, all bus and SeaBus service in Metro Vancouver could stop on Monday and Tuesday. SkyTrain and HandyDART services will not be affected.

• Calling the Customer Information Phone Line at 604-953-3333. 

If you have an in-person appointment scheduled with a DABC advocate this Monday/Tuesday and will be unable to travel to the DABC office without accessing bus/SeaBus services, please contact your advocate to discuss either rescheduling or booking a virtual appointment instead.
